Mamavation Monday 9/19 - Maintenance Week

I must admit, I did have a few sodas last week.  However, I only consumed about three over the course of the entire week when I would normally have three to four in a DAY.  Accomplishment?  Why yes, I'll take that!

As for my nightly yoga, I skipped a few days due to an issue I was having.  To make it simple and spare you the details - I had a Mirena IUD put in place on Tuesday last week.  To sum it up - owie for some days :(

This week was going to be the start of a new habit, but I'm feeling myself start to feel a little weak under all the pressure from school, etc., so I am simply going to maintain my current habits this week.  I'm not adding anything "new" into my daily routine.

While I may not be adding anything new into my routine, I am going to be working toward eating less fast food.  Fast food is gross and it's becoming cold/flu season.  The individuals that work fast food are usually not given sick days, and therefore, will work while sick.  Considering I have a crazy schedule with trying to graduate, etc. I do not have time to be sick!  So, this will be an all around good thing!  I will pack healthy lunches of REAL food!

So for this week -

Maintain nightly yoga
Maintain no soda rule
Eat out less

Finally, I happened to glance through FaceBook on Saturday at the right moment, so a big congratulations to Leah and Mark Segedie!

Have a great week everyone!

Good luck this week! Maintaining your current goals before you add new ones is a great way to make sure that you don't over due it.

I totally know the feeling of missing the soda. I gave it up a couple of weeks ago - and totally miss the taste of it once in a while.

You have a great plan ahead - can't wait to see where the week takes you!

Ha, ha... yes, I was right with you on the fastfood is gross... but, that is a whole different reason not to eat it. Lol. I think I am getting old, or maybe the rest of my diet is too clean because now a french fry or tater tot makes me pretty sick with stomach cramps and all. Ugh.

Hey, I am proud of you gal! You have so much on your plate and lots of stress, so you are doing great. Keep it up. Sorry to hear about your Mirena pain, not fun. But, it should pass shortly.

I gave up soda, too.. and miss it sometimes. I love my Mirena-- totally worth a few days of discomfort- I'm on my second one! And GREAT job on keeping up! Maintaining is HARD, too!

I tried to have fast food today and it didn't even sound good. I ended up at Subway. Big hugs to you!

Good luck with your fast food ban. I never thought of it that way but it is so true. And congrats on your self-inflicted soda challenge. I too have given up my beloved Diet Coke. 2 days and counting. :)
